We're so excited to welcome Dr. Morgan Rogers to the ForeverYoung Chiropractic team!

Dr. Morgan brings a passion for family-focused, neurologically based care, with a special interest in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic.

She completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at Northeast College of Health Sciences in March 2026, after earning her Kinesiology degree from Acadia University. With certifications in the Webster Technique, along with additional training in acupuncture and dry needling, Dr. Morgan offers a well-rounded and personalized approach to care.

Her background as a multi-sport athlete, including rugby at both the University of Ottawa and Acadia, gives her a deep appreciation for movement, recovery, and helping patients stay active and doing what they love.

Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr. Morgan is passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their health journey.

Outside the clinic, you'll find her working out, reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Have you ever thought about why sleep is so important?

Research has shown us that sleep can be thought of as a bit like a dishwasher for the brain. We know from this research that during deep sleep the fluid that bathes and nourishes our brain and spinal cord is increased, which allows for a cleaning process to occur, where toxic by-products and debris are washed away.

The brain is very active during the day so many processes cannot be completed until we rest and sleep at night.

The information gathered during the day is then consolidated, which means our short-term memories are converted to long-term memories and new nerve cells are created. Meaning that good quality and enough sleep is absolutely essential for learning new information, at least if you want to remember this information long term.

Optimize Your Sleeping Position!

The best position to sleep in is the one that makes you the most comfortable. Here are some tips on how you can optimize sleeping positions:

Tummy Sleeper:
Sleeping on your tummy is not as bad as we once thought, but you do need to have full range of motion when turning both ways with your neck. This will also prevent going into the gecko position, which can create misalignment.

Side Sleeper:
When sleeping on your side it is beneficial to sleep while hugging a pillow. Use a pillow the width of your shoulders will help to keep your shoulders back to keep your neck and spine aligned. Place a pillow between your legs to help reduce pressure on your hips and lower back.

Back Sleeper:
When sleeping on your back, it's best to sleep with no pillow or very low pillow to support your neck and a pillow under your knees to keep your spine in a neutral position.
